Sworn English translator, proofreader and interpreter
Translator and interpreter of English, Modern Greek, Spanish and Catalan, and sworn translator of English. Although Enrique comes from Alicante, he graduated in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Granada with English and Greek as his main foreign languages. Then he settled in Valencia, where he usually lives, though he tries to spend some months in Greece or Canada every year. Enrique has a long experience in legal translation from English and Greek into Spanish, as well as in the fields of the automotive industry, tourism and philosophy.
He combines his work with research in translation, which led him to obtain a PhD in September 2017 with a thesis on quality in literary translation. In addition, he regularly collaborates with several literary magazines, translating stories and poems into Catalan and Spanish. Apart from his passion for literature, he loves art, travelling and enjoying a good conversation, not necessarily in that order.
