Alejandro is a translator and interpreter of Portuguese, French and Spanish, and a sworn translator of French. He graduated and holds a PhD in Theatre Translation from the University of Granada. He is also the author of his research work: Traducción Teatral: Traducir un arte vivo. Bases para un modelo de análisis de la traducción teatral [Theatre Translation: Translating live art. Bases for a model to analyse theatre translation]. Besides actively taking part in plays as an amateur since 2004, having done more than ten theatre translations, Alejandro also has a great deal of experience in translating technical texts from Portuguese and French to Spanish, specialising in the automotive and food industries, as well as in marketing.
Apart from absolutely loving theatre in almost any form, Alejandro enjoys taking part in a good conversation over a coffee or playing a multiplayer game online with friends.
