Here it is! Halloween again. And it comes with this post written by our most Americanish teacher, Miguel Ángel Sánchez Pérez. This list is made of not very scary but a little spooky movies which you could watch with your children without causing huge traumas in their little minds, mmmmuahahahaha.
We wouldn’t recommemd the lesser ones to see some though they are great for teenagers. So, please check out their age rating before watching them with your children.
To view the trailer you’ll only have to click on the titles.
Beetlejuice (1998)
Here you’ll find why hiring a ghost for an exorcism is a very bad (but funny) idea.
Hocus Pocus (1993)
Our favorite!
The Lost Boys (1987)
Vampires and teenagers, very iconic and straight back to the eighties.
Fright Night (1985)
Is your neighbor a vampire? If it is so, you should prepare your wooden stake and big big hammer.
The Monster Squad (1987)
What would happen if Count Dracula decided to conquer the world with the help of the werewolf, the swamp thing and the mummy? Well, the answer is pretty obvious… Only a bunch of kids and Frankenstein could stop the apocalypse from happening!
Young Frankenstein (1974)
Oh my! Oh my! I can’t say anything about the most hilarious film (out of all the monster’s films in this world) that hasn’t been said before. So, I will not. But what I do want to say is that we will never forget the amazing Gene Wilder! Rest in peace, Gene.
Army of Darkness (1992)
This is my “boomstick”! The third part of Evil Dead leaves the super gore scenes to its predecessors to focus on comedy. This is a real MWIOV… And noooo… I’m not a cat (MWIOV stands for Must Watch In its Original Version).
The Ghostbusters Saga (1984-2016)
House II: The Second Story (1987)
Zombie cowboys, dinosaurs, Aztec ancient powerful blue-light crystal skulls and the most charismatic adventurer slash plumber after Super Mario.
High Spirits (1988)
We are pretending there are ghosts in this hotel, aren’t we?
Almost every Tim Burton’s animation movie! (C’mon! You knew I couldn’t miss these ones):
The Nightmare before Christmas
